In 1922, A-9 car, the first Wolseley model was produced domestically. 1933, Ishikawajima Automotive Works merges with DAT Automobile Manufacturing Inc. and became Automobile Industries Co. Soichiro first tried to sell his design to Toyota Motors, but was declined and finally, after ten years, in 1948 he established his personal company Honda Motor.
